The beginning is hard.
When you see 0 followers. I mean everybody had to start there but man, it’s hard.
It can be so disheartening to post something you put your heart and soul into, to just get no likes.
It’s really difficult to stay consistent when it looks like nothing is working.
Yet you see all the big creators get millions of views.
You’re still stuck with 10 views, 4 of which were you checking it out.
I have those days.
Don’t be discouraged by slow growth in the beginning though, because in the beginning nothing happens, then all of a sudden everything happens.
That’s the other side of the overnight success.
It looks like: Nothing… Nothing… Boom.
Most people will be surprised by what you’re doing,
until you’re so big that nobody can just pass you.
It is a slow crawl up the hill.
The thing that I’ve seen over the years is:
The first years, those who don’t want it bad enough are weeded out.
I’ve watched so many come and go over the years. It’s crazy.
Yet only a few will stick it out.
Just trust the process.
Your time will come.
It will happen.
Just wait and see.
You focused on X, and then Threads took off.
I was looking at Instagram… and then TikTokers crushed me.
Sometimes it happens when you don’t look.
