Don’t do it for the money.

Hey Reader,

I know making money is important. You need to make money to run your business.

Many people have said it before me:

Don’t just do something for the money.

Do it for helping the people.
Do it for the bigger picture.
Do it for the fun.
Do it for the curiosity.

But don’t do it for the money.

Time and time again I observe men starting a business.
They heard that Real Estate, eCommerce or Online Courses is where the money is made.
Then they get started.

Until they quit.

I’ve seen it time and time again.
Most don’t last long enough to make it work.
You only earn half as much.
It takes twice as long and is three times harder than you thought.

That’s the reality of starting a business.

You won’t last long enough when you’re only in it for the money.
The only way you’ll be able to last long enough is with your legacy mission.

What will you do to leave a legacy?

Even when it will take 10 years to get there.
What are you going to do that is worth the sacrifice, the hard work and the pain of not quitting?

That is what you should be doing.

I know it sounds hard. It is hard.

There is also nothing more fun when you’re working on your legacy mission.
You are pursuing your life’s calling.

The major side benefit is:
Nobody that’s in it for the money is going to beat you, because you’re ready to outwork them on any given day.

They are not able to compete with your drive.

What’s your legacy mission?

Until next time!

It feels nerve-wracking.Separated from reality. In reality, most entrepreneurs overprice or undercharge. Both of them don’t get you any…

  • Creativity Is a Muscle, Not a Muse

How often do you hear:“I don’t know what to write about.”“I don’t know what to film.”“I don’t know what to paint.” How often have you used those excuses yourself when you came up to the creative task? In the beginning, I was also stressing out about not feeling creative. There are big gaps in my YouTube career. Those were times when I felt like I didn’t have any creative ideas. It all felt overwhelming. Other times, I felt the muse strike — and I had way too many ideas. Now I know: Creativity…

  • I Thought I Had It Figured Out, Finally….

I finally have it figured out!So I thought—when I entered the blogging space 4 years ago. It was amazingly simple. I just need to write blog posts on my website and Google will bring traffic to my page. All I need to do is sit and wait for people to rank my articles. A lot of people in the blogging space were making $4,000–$10,000 a month with 100 blog posts on their website. A lot of the income was coming from display ads they placed on their website. 90% of their traffic came from Google….

  • SEO has changed forever

In the last three years we have seen many shifts in SEO. What used to be a debate between white hat and black hat, SEO is now a more fundamental question. Since the entry of ChatGPT on the stage, there is a major shift happening. Many folks try to hold onto the good old times — when you could win with 100 blog posts and that was your whole marketing strategy. This landscape has shifted. I have been part of the blogging community for a while, and it was scary to see the results of this change….

  • 30 before 30

30 before 30 Now that I’m 29 years old – I’m wondering what do I want to do with my next year? What do I want to do before I turn 30? As I have been working on my business to become the Present Provider for my family – I have noticed a trend. Most people set an income goal. So have I in the last years. Now that I have a few years on my back – I realize it is better to focus on Impact. Impact over Income. It is not how much I can get out – it is how much I can give. My goal is to reach 30K…
