Focus on Strategy, Not Tactics

The other day I read another post that I thought was interesting.
The guy said he ran a test: after 800 days of posting daily, he focused on quality over quantity, and then only posted 2 times per week.
His point was that too many are only posting daily, but they should do better content.

This was setting me riled up.
It was a good example of doing what he did, not doing what he said.
He got to the many views by posting daily.
So that’s the strategy: Post daily.

It will give you data, skill, and experience.
Yes, he sees advising to post less and get better.
But this is assuming that person has data.
How do you get better? By doing more.

How do you know if something was good? By having more data.
2 posts per week means 100 posts per year.
I could also have that data in 100 days.
Which means it took me only less than a third of the time to get the same data.

In the beginning there is only one way to grow and that’s massive action.
You can’t get around that.
It’s the only thing that counts.

That’s when I also stack up the work.
I’m building my systems on the back end of massive action.
I need enough data to know where I can go.

This is the hard part of growing a business.
It’s a skill-based game.
The better you are, the more clients you can serve, the more money you can make.

The only way to get there is by doing more to get better.
It’s that simple.

Yet it’s too hard for most to sustain.
They are looking for an easy way out.

  • Commitment is Elimination of Options

Hey Reader, Commitment is often talked about mostly as a sense of committing to more. Taking on a new commitment or getting more committed. Yet commitment means:to eliminate alternatives. I know that most think of commitment as adding something new to your life.I thought that way for years. Then I ended up with too many commitments—too many plates that I wasn’t able to actually do. I started to feel burned out. That’s when I noticed how flawed my understanding of commitment was. Commitment is…

When I was growing up, I started to dream about my life. One idea that I also pursued was that I wanted to have a family. I knew that I wanted to get married and have kids.I wanted to provide for them and I wanted to spend my time with them. As I got older, reality started to settle in. What I was studying would maybe make some money. It would get us food on the table, but not much more. Maybe if I settled for a career in the field, a company would pay enough at some point. When I met my wife,…

I’ve been doing content marketing for almost 5 years. It definitely changed over the last year. There is a flood of content out there that is just generated by AI.It is getting easier to stay consistent. There is also a pattern I observe: I’m not trying to compete with AI.Since it’s a tool, I can use it well or…

  • The $1 Billion Business You Would Never Sell?

Hey Reader, In a recent podcast that I listened to, they were chatting about the perfect business. A lot of people advise to build a business you could sell later. It is with the idea to personally get so much money out of the exit that you would never need to work again in your life. When I talk to my clients, they always say that they don’t mind to work. It is the other way around. They want to show their work. What a good work ethic looks like. In the podcast, the host asked: “What if I…

  • You Always Have a Choice

I just read a post from somebody complaining how bad his dream job is and how the system is responsible it’s so bad. This seems like it’s so acceptable today.Everything is responsible for you not thriving or getting where you want to go. The other day, I heard a young man say that he has issues with girls because of his mother. When we don’t have one person to blame, it’s so easy to just blame the system. In my humble opinion, those are weak excuses. You make everyone and everything around…
