Give your customers a reason to buy – PPL #169
For years I have tried to figure out sales.
I did what I always do: read books, listen to podcasts, and watch on YouTube.
The advice I’ve seen most was not good.
They were talking about sales tactics that seemed more like a scam.
Also, the idea of cold calling to push them to a close didn’t really appeal to me.
The problem is pretty obvious.
When you don’t make sales, you don’t really have a business going for you.
Without money coming in, the business is on a constant threat to die.
This is when I looked back on the money I didn’t make.
It was all work I didn’t push for the sales.
They didn’t want to buy.
I just never gave them a reason to buy.
We don’t need to tell the people that we sell them.
Just show them that you have something to offer and then they can give them a reason to buy.
This is so much easier and makes life better.
Because you can grow your business as it feels natural.
Make it simple to go to the checkout and let them click buy when they are ready.
This is also why I’m for public pricing.
Make sure that people can see what the price is.
That’s why I’m not a fan of secret sales.
