Seasonal Stewardship

In Ecclesiastes, Solomon is telling about many different seasons of life. There is a time of birthing and a time of dying.

There are many more seasons: Sowing and harvesting.

Work hard and rest. Season of sorrow and season of joy.

Then there are also seasons of life: when you’re a child.

An adult. Single and married. Engaged. Having young kids.

All these seasons change your responsibility.

So in effect, it changes your stewardship.

All the points of Extreme Stewardship apply differently when you’re in different seasons. It is best to identify your seasons so you know what is required of the good and faithful steward.

This means we need to apply the Extreme Ownership and adapt it to the season you are in.

The more I talk with men – the more I notice that there are some challenges along the way. You are sometimes bound to a season and don’t have much freedom of choice.

Then there is also always a point to be made about sacrifice. For many options don’t have both options, but only one and then they are gone. So there are real consequences from our decisions.

Provide with Presence, my Brother!
