The No. 1 Skill for All Entrepreneurs
|
Hey Reader, When I was starting out, my wife said: When a video I uploaded performed well — I was excited. Another day, I got a bad comment, This continued day in, day out. On extreme days, it was the top of the world in the morning, and the valley of death in the afternoon. This brings me to the most important skill to master: Emotional Resilience.
That you don’t take everything personal. One step is to separate the business from yourself. I know this is a hard one, because you feel like you are your business. The next task is to:
Look for input, not for outcomes.
Focus on what you can control. Do what you can and ignore the rest. Analytics don’t matter much in the beginning. In the beginning, I didn’t know what would work. Know that there will be a lot of failures on the road. You can do it new, better, again. Emotional Resilience gives you the strength to start in adversity.
When it looks bad. Don’t let your hope be controlled by trolls of the internet Just keep going. You can also find help in conversation. You are not alone.
