The Two Ways to Grow (Only One Actually Scales)

Hey Reader,

Every founder hits the same wall eventually.

You’re working harder than ever. Outreach. Cold calls. Referral chasing. Jumping between platforms hoping one finally clicks.

Revenue comes in. But the moment you stop pushing, everything stops.

I’ve been there. Living in that constant state of pressure. Wondering if next month’s income would show up. Terrified of losing my only platform.

It’s exhausting because you’re running a sales-led business.

Sales-led marketing moves fast. You send 50 DMs, book 5 calls, close 2 clients. It works. But only while you’re doing it.

It’s reactive. Short-lived. Doesn’t compound.

Like a fly buzzing around. Gets attention quickly. Dies just as fast.

Then there’s the other way. Brand-led marketing.

This one’s slower to start. You write long-form content. Build authority. Show up consistently across platforms. Create a personal story library that people can explore.

It feels like nothing’s happening at first.

But then something shifts. Leads start coming to you warm. Sales cycles get shorter. People already trust you before the first call.

Like an evergreen tree. Grows quietly. Grows consistently. Eventually bears fruit every season.

Every founder you admire made this transition. Alex Hormozi. Russell Brunson. Justin Welsh.

They all started with sales-led hustle. But they scaled through brand-led systems.

The question isn’t which one works. Both do.

The question is which one you can sustain. Which one builds equity you own. Which one grows while you sleep.

Stop chasing. Start building.

Action: Choose one platform for long-form brand content this week. Write one piece that showcases your expertise and story. Plant your first evergreen seed.

  • It All Comes Back to Communication

Greetings Reader, Over the weekend I had a few chats with a friend on the effects of AI. We will be in for a ride. Sure the opportunities are endless. It will get stronger and better, but it also feels like we’re losing more and more the human touch. I’m trying to figure out how to talk about business without touching the subject of AI. The development is just so much faster than I anticipated. I’ve been in this space now since the launch of GPT 3,5. And it’s been a wild ride. I can promise…

  • The Three Models That Help You Move Fast

Greetings Reader, Last night I spoke with a lot of Founders at a local event. There is one pattern that kept coming up. I’m planning this. I’m waiting on this. I haven’t gotten the feedback yet. All those statements are holding your business back. They will lock and keep you stuck, because you gave the power to act away. Over the past years I’ve tried to study the greed and there are three models that help you move fast. Urgency is the mover. Urgency means to just close the gap between…

  • The Fight Between Persuasion and Manipulation

Greetings Reader, Recently I did a deep dive into the world of communication. There are generally two different skillsets to communication. One is the personal communication. Your journal to your dinner table conversation. When we enter the arena of public communications we have a lot of traditions. We have the historic school of the Orator – aka. Speaker. Over the centuries we have seen a specialization. The speaker was trained in propaganda. The Art of public persuasion. After the second…

  • The Hidden Truth Behind Consistency (not many know)

The first advice people will hear is to be consistent. Post daily. Stick to your schedule. Be consistent. Most give this advice without giving you the understanding of why it matters. “When everybody is consistent, I’m not able to stand out.” That’s what I often hear as a response. “I need to focus on my quality, since everybody is focused on quantity.” This is also a false belief. Since you don’t even know what quantity is. So back to the advice to be consistent. Most people that try…

  • Don’t chase cheap leads

All businesses are constantly on the lookout for fast, cheap leads. They want to get new leads ASAP. A lot of founders opt for tactics to grow. Tactics might get you leads today — but the thing is:Tactics change fast. Growing your business with tactics is like day trading. The top 1% is making money, but the rest is paying for it. There is no scalable, reliable growth for your business gambling with tactics. There is a secret behind the top 1%: They use tactics on top of systems. We need to…
