There Are No Unlimited New Clients – Nr. 188
I know many sales guys tell you that you can always get new clients.
That you can always find somebody new to work with.
This is only partially true.
While there are always new people entering the market, it doesn’t mean that they will come to you.
Sales guys tell you this because they are trying to win you as their customer.
However, there is a secret second number that’s important:
Not just how many people come in the front door—but also how many people stay inside.
This is the churn rate.
Which means, how many people are leaving your business after a month or two.
Or it is the number of repeat buyers.
Most companies fight for new customers but don’t try to help the customers happy and make them stay.
It is already a lot more business for you when you manage to keep clients longer.
This means to make your business sticky.
Not in a honey-on-fingers way sticky, but in a loyalty way sticky.
Make it so they only want to work with you and your business.
This means investing in the relationship and finding new ways for you to help them.
That will make your business so much better.
