We are changing from Creator to Tribe.

Greetings Reader,

This one change has been on the horizon for a while now. A lot of people like to talk about the creator economy. They observe that more small businesses are growing out of content creation.

In my personal belief they look at the obvious not seeing the real thing.

We have moved from Product first to Tribe first. The creator economy is putting the creator at the core. When he is actually not the focal point.

The Tribe Economy is focused on small groups. Like the secret club with your friends in elementary school. You either belong or not.

This is the Tribe Economy. The creators are participating in the tribe. Most of them don’t come up on their own, but in a group effort.

They collaborate. They chat, connect and share. They are a tribe with different totems.

Why does this matter? Because the creator economy has shipped the promise of you can just grow on your own. Which is not true.

You become part of a tribe, and then you might add your own token over time.

It is time to connect to other creators and to your people. Then focus all in on helping them grow. That’s the Tribe Economy.
