What If You Couldn’t Lose? – No. 195
What If You Couldn’t Lose?
Dear Reader,
Often when I talk with founders, they share that they are afraid.
The biggest fear of solopreneurs is to fail.
There is a strange feeling to think you can lose.
We all love to win. Nobody likes to lose.
Being a loser is an insult.
Let me ask you a question:
Where would your burden be if you could not lose?
What action would you have taken?
I’m afraid of heights.
I’m not the biggest fan of climbing the ladder.
Yet sometimes there is the question of climbing up.
What I see in business is people starting out, taking the first step.
Then they are stuck up on the ladder and freeze.
“What if I fall?”
You are just 1 foot above the floor.
It’s not that high up.
You will be fine.
This was me in the beginning. When I said:
What if I can’t lose?
Because I will do it until I die.
Not in the reckless way, but in a committed way.
It’s similar to marriage.
You only fail your marriage when you stop showing up.
So if I can only lose in business when I stop showing up, then I can’t lose.
All I have to do is to win.
I might as well play the game as a winner.
I believe in you!
Your Jowi
