Why giving first sets you apart

One question is always here:
How do I stand out?
I want to show that I’m different.

There is so much content produced every day that it’s hard to keep up with it all.
Yet it’s not coming easy to stand out.

The one sure thing we know is:

If you do what everybody does — it’s a sure way to blend in with the crowd.

There is a trend that I’m seeing.
It’s not a new trend.
Everybody is only talking about themselves.

The major question always is:

What’s in it for me?

That’s the main attitude most people are on.
It’s also the biggest mistake mission-driven creators can do.

By focusing on “what’s in it for me” —
I don’t even know what I can do.
A lot of people online brag about how much they work in a week.

Yet there is a lack.
The lack of giving first.

I know people talk about it —
but are they actually doing it?

The easiest way I have found is that:

When you focus on giving first,
focus on serving your people,
take care of them
don’t just talk about it. Do it.

I think the best example is Taylor Swift.

She shows up to fans’ weddings or birthdays.
Does she show up to every wedding? No.
That’s also not the point.

It’s those simple actions that make her stand out.

It’s doing something unexpected.
Being something more than what was asked for.

That is what makes the difference.

That’s the one thing you can do to stand out today:

Those actions that show you really care.
Not just the talk, but keeping your word.

That’s what makes you rare today.

  • More Content Won’t Save a Bad Offer

One thing that comes up in my coaching calls a lot is that people want to just create more content. The client wishes to work more on content.Content creation definitely has a lot of value.
