Why giving first sets you apart

One question is always here:
How do I stand out?
I want to show that I’m different.

There is so much content produced every day that it’s hard to keep up with it all.
Yet it’s not coming easy to stand out.

The one sure thing we know is:

If you do what everybody does — it’s a sure way to blend in with the crowd.

There is a trend that I’m seeing.
It’s not a new trend.
Everybody is only talking about themselves.

The major question always is:

What’s in it for me?

That’s the main attitude most people are on.
It’s also the biggest mistake mission-driven creators can do.

By focusing on “what’s in it for me” —
I don’t even know what I can do.
A lot of people online brag about how much they work in a week.

Yet there is a lack.
The lack of giving first.

I know people talk about it —
but are they actually doing it?

The easiest way I have found is that:

When you focus on giving first,
focus on serving your people,
take care of them
don’t just talk about it. Do it.

I think the best example is Taylor Swift.

She shows up to fans’ weddings or birthdays.
Does she show up to every wedding? No.
That’s also not the point.

It’s those simple actions that make her stand out.

It’s doing something unexpected.
Being something more than what was asked for.

That is what makes the difference.

That’s the one thing you can do to stand out today:

Those actions that show you really care.
Not just the talk, but keeping your word.

That’s what makes you rare today.

  • You Always Have a Choice

I just read a post from somebody complaining how bad his dream job is and how the system is responsible it’s so bad. This seems like it’s so acceptable today.Everything is responsible for you not thriving or getting where you want to go. The other day, I heard a young man say that he has issues with girls because of his mother. When we don’t have one person to blame, it’s so easy to just blame the system. In my humble opinion, those are weak excuses. You make everyone and everything around…

I used to rearrange my to-do lists at least once a week. The issue was that I kept planning my perfect week. I kept making elaborate plans. Hey Reader, In business, we are often tempted to jump on big trends. We often feel like we’re missing out if we don’t. Especially at the beginning, it’s hard. The question is: how do you get started? You should go where the fish are. Don’t blindly follow the advice of the fishermen. The fish is the spot, not the fishermen. The rest will follow long after. A friend and I went fishing together. When we arrived at the lake, it was often that way that others were leaving. So you just lost. Ash…

  • Building a Business Wasn’t my 1st Dream

When I was growing up, I started to dream about my life. One idea that I also pursued was that I wanted to have a family. I knew that I wanted to get married and have kids.I wanted to provide for them and I wanted to spend my time with them. As I got older, reality started to settle in. What I was studying would maybe make some money. It would get us food on the table, but not much more. Maybe if I settled for a career in the field, a company would pay enough at some point. When I met my wife,…
