Why I am still a big fan of YouTube
Greetings Reader,
I just read a post on LinkedIn from a fellow founder. He said that he started out on YouTube and quit again. It was just a lot more work and took so much longer to see growth.
I’m not disagreeing with him. When I first started I thought a few videos would be enough to be famous.
The reality is it takes longer. I think that is actually a good thing. From all my years in business I know relationships take time.
This is also the exact reason why I am such a big fan of YouTube.
Yes it takes longer, but it also builds so much deeper relationships.
There is almost no other platform or format that gives you this trust at scale.
Is it work? Yes, sure it is. We need to look past the quick win and the effort and to the real outcome underneath. The main question ought to be: Is it worth it?
Yes it is worth it. I still get warm inbound emails for my YouTube channel that the last upload is 1,5 years ago.
Where else do you get this outcome today?
This is why the hard work will pay off. Just not after 20 videos and after one month.
The depth of trust is unbeaten.
When you don’t know where to start, I have built the idea mine. A daily email with ideas prepped specially for you.
When you would like to test it for 7 days free, reply “Idea” and I will get you started.
Yours in Stewardship
Jowi
