Why More Leads Might Hurt You

I see this all over the internet.
People talk about needing more leads, or more new clients.
My DMs are full with outreach offering me more leads.

The reality is that most think they need more leads,
when in reality they don’t have a good enough offer.

Focus to help one person better, more and effective.
Then you will have something to offer that is power.
Take that out into the world and you’ll see:
suddenly leads become easier.

More leads doesn’t automatically grow your business.
When you don’t know what to do with those leads,
they can cause you more harm than good.

This is the reality.
I see this in the business from sales bros.
They get leads, turn them into chats, and then they are done.
They don’t have a great product.
If people buy and then fall through —
this is how a bad reputation is built.

Start with a real product.
Don’t build it behind closed doors.
Build it in public with clients.
Then you have the proof of value.

This will jumpstart your business and turn it into a
real problem-solving machine.

Yet too many get side-tracked.

My tip for you is to write to people you already know.
Get them to help you and solve their problems.

Don’t get stuck getting leads when you can’t actually help them.

  • Build With Leverage, Not Burnout

There is a limit to the work we can do. We all have 24 hours in a day. We might have a different energy level to start, but in the evening, our energy will be spent. The only way to do more is by building with leverage. It used to be that we needed to lift the heavy stones by hand. Then they developed the crane. Now one person could pull the rope and pull up the rock alone. We can have multiple levers. When I was younger, I rode my bike everywhere to school. There was a limit to how fast I…

  • Goal or Journey? Both!

If you don’t enjoy the process to get the success—success is falling short. You need to have goals because they serve as landmarks to give your journey a direction. That is something I have seen in…

  • Better Offer

Better Offer The most important thing to improve is: Your offer. This is the foundation of your business. There is no way around that. If you don’t have an offer or you have a bad offer – nobody will buy. Nobody will talk with you. It’s like you’re trying to sell old fish. It smells so bad that nobody is willing to get close to you. No matter how much Marketing you do, word about your bad fish will spread. No matter how much you have optimized in your business or even automated. If your offer…
